A Few Years Later

I did not really know the "why's" when I left Israel, I just knew it was something God wanted. I had no plans set up for my arrival back in the US, but after several months the "why" of leaving became apparent. My grandmother had a stroke. It was a pretty massive stoke that left her almost catatonic for her first few months in a nursing home. Once we got her home, she started improving.  While she has lost the use of he left arm and leg, she is now alert and we can carry on conversations with her. She is such a different person than she was in the first few months following the stroke. While she will never fully recover, she has a life now something she would not have had if she had been left in the nursing home. My mother and I fully believe that if we had not been here to care for my grandmother, she would have been dead by now.

Although it can be difficult to follow God into the unknown, we can trust that nothing is unknown to God.  He has a purpose that he will reveal in His time.
