Bagel Making
When I was in Israel I attempted making bagels, since bagels are not readily available to buy there. I knew of one shop in Jerusalem where I could buy them, and they were expensive. My attempt at making the bagels was not very good (primarily with size and shape, although I also did not have the best kitchen), so I did not try it again. Today I decided to make another attempt. Boiling the bagels in sugar water The boiled bagels are ready for the oven Baked and ready to eat Believe it or not, these are better shaped than my first attempt years ago. I obviously still have some work to get them to be a proper bagel size and shape. I will find out tomorrow how they taste...
