Last Days in Israel

As my time is coming to an end here in Israel I must admit I am starting to feel run down. My mother came to visit me about three weeks ago, for 10 days.  We had a great time.  We spent a couple days in the Galilee, a few days down in Eilat, and a lot of walking in Jerusalem (this was my mother's highlight of the trip, believe it or not).  It was a good time where I got to see places for a last time that I might not get to see again.

The next day, when the Philistines came to strip the dead, they found Saul and his three sons fallen on Mount Gilboa...  They put his armor in the temple of the Ashtoreths and fastened his body to the wall of Beth Shan. When the people of Jabesh Gilead heard what the Philistines had done to Saul, all their valiant men marched through the night to Beth Shan. They took down the bodies of Saul and his sons from the wall of Beth Shan and went to Jabesh, where they burned them. 1 Sam. 31:8, 10-12

After my Mom left, I finished up my work at CFI, and then had some more visitors.  This time a couple who are good friends of my brothers.  They are on a quick tour of Europe, and decided to stop by Israel.  Now, when my sister was here, I thought doing Galilee in three days was tough, his time though, I had not quite three days to do all of Israel... absolutely impossible.  But we have given it our best shot and with long days and quick stops, we've gotten a lot accomplished.
