Weather

I cycle into work unless I have a bunch of shopping to do in town or will not be getting home until very late for some reason.  Most mornings this time of year it is nice for cycling.  This-morning was a different story though.  The sun was quite hot and naturally the only spots along my route into work that were not in the shade were the points where I have to ride uphill...  This all makes it very interesting to hear of the snow in the States from family.  It seems so out of place, but it isn't really. After all, it is almost the middle of November.  It is just one of the changes that you get used to living in a much warmer climate.  It is currently 26°C (79°F) in Jerusalem, warm enough to wear a t-shirt in most of the world, here it is different though.  I was talking to a lady at Congregation this past Saturday who has just moved here with family from Northern Ireland.  She commented on how strange for them it was, here they think it is quite warm and everyone else is going around in long sleeves and/or sweaters!
