It is beautiful out tonight. As I am standing on my balcony the breeze sweeps around me like a soft blanket, sometimes whipping into a stronger wind that brings a chill to cool down the air from the hot day. From here it is difficult to imagine what is happening only a short distance away. Failed ceasefires mean the battle still goes on, and while the death toll has not reached Biblical proportions, the numbers are still climbing uncomfortably. One can only pray that through this Operation Protective Edge, more people will come to recognized who God is and acknowledge Him as their lord and savior.
Around Jerusalem most shops have started to collect items to send to the IDF forces working in the Gaza strip. Arabs are protesting in different areas of Jerusalem tonight. The past few days Arab children have been throwing stones at buses in some areas... Rockets are still falling on southern Israel...
